Fall in Love with Beauty

A journey through history.

Rome. An amazing city, with its beauty and its contradictions.

Through its more than 2700 years of history, Rome has maintained its status, maybe not as the center of the western world, but as a capital of culture. Rome has ancient ruins, Renaissance masterpieces, modern architecture, all among its seven hills. It is also one of the most filmed cities starring in myriad movies with its ancient art, its world-famous churches and its urban landscapes. But what if you want to experience it a little closer? Here are three reasons to finally travel to the Eternal City and fall in love with it.

A city of fountains

Rome boasts over 2,000 fountains. From the Trevi Fountain by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, to the Fontana della Barcaccia, to the Fontanone del Gianicolo, masterpieces of urban art and well known destinations.

La Dolce Vita

In addition to masterpieces and history, Rome is also synonymous with La Dolce Vita; the original location of Fellini's movie is still the hub of this lifestyle. What better place to embrace the peace and beauty of Italy than its capital? Take a stroll through the elegant Via del Babbuino and Via Condotti, take a break for a quick coffee outdoor in one of the many picturesque squares, enjoy a slow lunch in one of the restaurants overlooking the city. It doesn't matter how much time you have available during your stay in Rome: make sure you take a break from visiting historical monuments to truly experience the city in full Dolce Vita style.

The capital of pasta

Amatriciana, Carbonara, Gricia or maybe Cacio&Pepe for the cheese lovers are only some of the pasta presentations that have originated here. But Rome has much more to offer, from lamb to artichokes and lots of street food, from supplì (a kind of fried rice croquette) to pizza slices and, of course, ice cream. We challenge you to try them all, preferably in one of the traditional trattorias in the alleyways of the city.
